Aaron Gies

For months, Mr. Gies has been meeting with people in Allegany County and throughout the 23rd district to listen to voters and relate his positive message for change. He talks of “reigniting the common good,” “rebuilding a government that works for us,” affordability, and quality health care. His positive message and ideas are attracting support. He has avoided personal attacks.
After reviewing questionnaire responses from both Democratic candidates and discussing their public comments as they relate to leadership and character, the ACM-PAC board unanimously voted to endorse Aaron Gies for the Democratic primary on June 23, 2026.
Our organization is confident that, when elected, Mr. Gies will represent the people and families of Allegany County and the 23rd district—not the interests of corporate millionaires and billionaires.
We are proud and privileged to make this endorsement. In addition to choosing Aaron Gies as our standard bearer, ACM-PAC intends to make financial contributions to the campaign to the extent allowable by law.
